Built by a therapist who understands the challenges and possibilities first hand.
Hi, I’m Gloria! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the founder of Empowered Neurodiversity.
Throughout my early career as a therapist, I worked across a variety of educational environments from preschool settings to university counseling. No matter the age group, I kept seeing the same gap in services: adults struggling with ADHD who had very little support or language for their experiences. Most resources focused on children, while adults were left trying to navigate work, relationships, or even their own child's diagnosis without a roadmap.
That insight, combined with a strong clinical foundation, shapes how I show up today. Empowering adults persevering through a world that has long felt complicated and challenging socially, financially, or relationally.
My style is warm, practical, and focused on real-life change.
I founded Empowered Neurodiversity with a clear mission: to offer neuro-affirming care that honors the whole person and their lived experiences, while filling the gap for adults who deserve support too.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands your brain and respects your humanity, you’re in the right place.
My approach is a blend of practical tools, genuine connection, and evidence-based strategies. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy; I pay attention to who you are, how your brain works, and what you’re going through so we can choose the right approach for you.
I pull from several therapeutic methods like, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, parts of DBT, and Narrative Therapy, but I use them in a way that feels natural, not overwhelming or “textbook.” My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded.

ADHD can affect various aspects of life, from focus and productivity to relationships and self-esteem. If you’re finding it hard to manage distractions or impulsivity, I’m here to offer practical strategies and support that enhance your strengths and help you thrive.

Anxiety can make even the simplest moments feel overwhelming. If you’re navigating a major life transition, feeling stuck, or simply want to get out of your own way, I’m here to help you find steadiness, perspective, and relief.

Depression can cloud your thoughts and rob you of joy, making everyday tasks feel insurmountable. Whether you’re feeling hopeless, isolated, or just not yourself, I’m here to support you on the path toward recovery and renewed vitality.

OCD can manifest as persistent, intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors that disrupt daily life. I provide understanding and evidence-based approaches to help you challenge and manage these patterns, fostering a sense of freedom and control.

Trauma can leave deep imprints on your mental and emotional landscape. If you’re struggling with memories, flashbacks, or feelings of anxiety linked to past experiences, I provide a safe space to process and heal, empowering you to reclaim your life.

Living with a chronic illness can be exhausting and isolating. The physical challenges often accompany emotional struggles, and together, we can navigate these complexities, develop coping strategies, and foster resilience in the face of ongoing health issues.
